Boydie and the Fisherman’s Friends tonight. Bill ain’t going cause its Bass Player at Luffley Cafe in Murwillumbah with Scrubby who used to play at BILAMBIL BLUES CLUB. Years he played there. Smooth as. Bill has a secret meeting in Murbah but he might be back in time to catch a wee bit of Boydie and Co. Enjoyed them at the Xmas Party.

Bass Player does the Northern Rivers Circuit with Scrub now. http://hillbillybluesbandits.wordpress.com/ Came about as a result of losing Dennis to Infection a year or more back. Loss to the Club as well. Hillbilly Blues Banditz brought in the NORTH COAST ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY ASSOCIATION DOLPHIN AWARDS NIGHT last year. 1st and 2nd place for songwriting in the Blues. Back to 2009 – next week. Jan 16 – is Johnny Carr’s Night. Bill thinks Johnny Sutton could be away on his 3 month unexplained absence. YESTERBEATS will be there with the Glengarries and John’s traditional bag of tricks. Bill’s kinfolk will likely be down from the mountains and just might come along for a listen. The Mad O’Brians haven’t been to the Club for 3 years. Reckon they ain’t been swimming since they moved to the Mountains neither. Looks like Roast Dinner and Music for them and a dip in Bilambil Creek.
